How Flowfox was born
Two childhood friends. One broken system. And a mission to fix global imports.
Every day, teams at ocean carriers and importers exchange thousands of emails to coordinate container releases, drop-off assignments, invoices, references, and authorizations. This outdated approach slows down operations, adds unnecessary workload, and increases the risk of costly errors.
Flowfox began with Patrick Pehmöller, a tech-driven serial entrepreneur, and Kim Kerrutt, a logistics expert with years of experience at COSCO Shipping. Growing up together, they always wanted to build something—but Kim refused to leave logistics. So, Patrick did the only logical thing: he jumped headfirst into the industry.
